“Oh, shut up,” Qiao Li retorted.
The convenience store was bustling with people in the middle of the day. Mortified, Qiao Li grabbed several bags of brightly colored candy, burying the c0ndoms amongst them. Flustered, she paid and hurried out.
The moment she opened the car door, Feng Yi’s eager, flushed face greeted her. His impatient, passionate expression made her feel like an ancient emperor about to indulge a favored concubine.
When they reached the hotel, Feng Yi’s noticeable er3ction made it difficult for him to walk normally. He had to tie his jacket around his waist, using the knotted sleeves to conceal himself, walking into the October air in just a T-shirt.
Once inside the elevator, the tension seemed to drain from Feng Yi’s body.
Seeing him sweating in his short sleeves, Qiao Li felt a mischievous urge. She leaned in and wrapped her arms around his waist, causing his muscles to tense. From the elevator camera’s perspective, they looked like any other couple embracing. But beneath the cover of his jacket, Qiao Li’s hand was tracing circles against the taut muscles of his lower back.
Feng Yi clenched his fists, the veins in his forearms bulging. His mind was a whirl of sparks, his breath coming in short, sharp bursts. The increasing pressure below was becoming almost unbearable.
He didn’t dare push her away. “Stop… I can’t take it.”
But Qiao Li wasn’t about to let him off the hook. His waist was lean and toned, the muscles firm and hot beneath her touch. It felt incredibly good.
The elevator stopped on the tenth floor, and someone stepped inside.
The newcomer glanced at the embracing couple, phone in hand. The man was strikingly handsome, with unforgettable eyes—long and narrow, black and white distinct, with upturned corners and a dark, intense gaze.
Looks like he’s made his boyfriend angry, the newcomer thought, returning their attention to their phone and pressing their floor button.
Feng Yi held his breath, afraid of giving himself away. The corners of his eyes were tinged with red, his lips pressed into a thin line, his expression strained. He looked nothing like himself.
Qiao Li, emboldened, continued her teasing, certain he wouldn’t dare react. Shielded by his jacket, she occasionally pressed against the hardness beneath.
Feng Yi’s heart hammered in his chest. Unable to move, he could only watch the elevator floor numbers change, the whites of his eyes showing beneath his narrowed gaze, giving him a dangerous aura that was entirely unlike him.
Finally, they reached the seventeenth floor. The “ding” of the elevator was his salvation. Scooping Qiao Li into his arms, he practically dragged her out.
His grip was tight, almost painful. Qiao Li patted his chest. “I need to get the room key.”
Feng Yi loosened his hold. Qiao Li walked to the door and searched for her keycard.
Feng Yi couldn’t wait a second longer. He pressed his hot body against her back, the hardness between his legs nudging against her lower back, his hot breath ghosting over her ear.
Qiao Li’s hand fumbled with the keycard. Oops, maybe I took it too far…
She found the card, but before she could swipe it, Feng Yi snatched it from her hand and pressed it against the reader. He flung the door open and pulled her inside before she could react.
The door slammed shut with a resounding thud.
Qiao Li felt a tightening around her waist. The world spun, and then she was pressed against the door, his scorching body pinning her in place.
