"Would you prefer I take off mine?" He casually loosened his collar. "We can do that too. To be fair, I'll take off an item for every wrong guess. How does that sound?"
Frustration bubbled over. "How does that sound?! I'm not playing this stupid game—mmmph!"
He silenced her with a kiss, his lips pressing against hers.
His mouth moved against hers with a demanding urgency. Dizzy and disoriented, Yan Zhen struggled to speak. "...You..."
His hand slid along her waist, his fingertips teasing her skin. Against her lips, he murmured, "A little hint: three words."
He added, "Or are you scared you'll lose?"
Yan Zhen was a sucker for a challenge. Pride flared. "Who's scared? Let's play!"
Face buried in the sofa, she took a few ragged breaths, considering her options. Finally, with extreme reluctance, she mumbled, "...I'm a pig?"
She always assumed the worst of Chen Huaixu. He was undoubtedly trying to humiliate her, to make her degrade herself with her own words.
Under normal circumstances, she wouldn't fall for it. But now, at a disadvantage, pride took a backseat. Revenge could wait.
"Hmm?" He sounded surprised, then amusement crept into his voice. "There's no need to be so hard on yourself."
He reached for her shirt, pulling it over her head. Yan Zhen, defeated, resisted, her hands clutching the fabric. "You can't! I'm not wearing anything underneath!"
The hotel maintained a constant temperature, so she'd dressed lightly for her nap. Having left her jacket where they were drinking earlier, she was now down to a single thin top. Underneath was only her bra.
"A bet's a bet." He nipped at her waist. "No cheating."
He pried her fingers loose, tugging the shirt off. The cool air sent a shiver across her newly exposed skin.
At least she was face down, sparing him a view of her br3asts. For now.
"This isn't fair!" she complained. "There are so many words! How am I supposed to guess?"
"I can give you a hint," he offered magnanimously. "But there's a price."
Another condition?
"Fine," she conceded. "What is it?"
He rolled her over.
Her pale bra cupped the fullness of her br3asts, the soft curves shimmering like honey in the dim light, rising and falling with each breath. She instinctively crossed her arms, deepening the cleavage between them, drawing his gaze.
"What are you looking at?!" Mortified, Yan Zhen's cheeks burned. She reached up to cover his eyes. "P3rvert!"
He caught her hand, kissing her fingers before leaning in to kiss her again.
"Don't..." she protested weakly.
"That's the price," he murmured against her lips. "Don't move. A kiss, and then you get your hint."
His lips touched hers. Yan Zhen instinctively tried to pull away, but he held her still, his fingers tightening on the back of her neck. "I said don't move. Your tongue."
Annoyed and flustered, she closed her eyes and tentatively touched her tongue to his. He immediately captured it, sucking and deepening the kiss.
His hand strayed, finding the edge of her bra, slipping a fingertip beneath the tight band, his fingertip tracing the lower curve of her br3ast. It tickled, but not quite.
Each time she braced herself for him to go further, he stopped, teasing her, tormenting her with the anticipation.
The sound of their kissing filled the room, the rhythm slow and deliberate, yet each touch sent shivers down her spine. Unlike his earlier urgency, this kiss was languid, intimate, like a lover's caress.
When he finally broke away, Yan Zhen was breathless, her eyes glazed with a hazy warmth. It took her a moment to regain her bearings.
"Okay, your hint," he said, his breathing still slightly uneven. He kissed the tip of her nose. "Three words, all different."
What kind of hint was that? Still reeling from the kiss, Yan Zhen felt cheated.
"You're a jerk!" she hissed.
"Wrong again." His fingers moved to the button of her pants. He chuckled. "Oh, I forgot to mention. The rules of this game are subject to change."
